Through the generosity of artists such as Steve Earle, Peter Frampton, Vince Gill, John Hiatt, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and many others, instruments with a performance history will play one more role in supporting Nashville's music legacy. Beginning on Oct. 12, charitable initiative NASH20 will auction artist-donated items to fans, collectors and contributors across the country and around the world online at www.nash20.org. Most pieces were flood-damaged and have been decontaminated, while some were never touched by the water but have been donated specifically for this fundraising effort. Additional auction items including online celebrity chats and experiences will also be available. A portion of the proceeds from this auction will benefit the MusiCares Nashville Flood Relief Fund.
