This August, MusiCares is celebrating National Wellness Month with an assortment of clinics, programs, and groups dedicated to taking a holistic approach to the health and well-being of the music community.
The Health & Human Services Team has a lineup of programs planned including support groups, health clinics, and a three-part panel series. Programming kicks off on August 4 and August 6 with NARCAN trainings and hearing clinics available to artists, staff, and crew at Mile of Music festival in Appleton, Wisconsin and Outside Lands festival in San Francisco, California.

August 4-7: Mile of Music Festival
MusiCares is hosting a NARCAN training and hearing clinic during the Mile of Music festival in Appleton, Wisconsin. Eligible professionals will be fitted for free, custom ear plugs during the hearing clinic.
All services are open to artists and crew only. The clinic will run throughout the festival, while supplies last.

Support Groups
MusiCares offers 10 free weekly online emotional support and addiction recovery support groups including women's music community, Black music community, and LGBTQIA+ music community groups open to anyone interested in participating.
Support groups are a safe and secure place to sort through a variety of wellness issues or concerns. Each group is led by a licensed professional and additional assistance is available if needed.

Health Clinics
MusiCares provides a wide range of health and wellness services, including assistance with medical expenses (such as doctor, dentist and hospital bills) as well as support in obtaining low-cost health insurance and preventative services.
