Get ready to rock! Feb. 2 marks MusiCares' 33rd annual Person of the Year gala, which will celebrate 2024's honoree, Jon Bon Jovi. The official GRAMMY Week event will take place at Los Angeles Convention Center, and will feature a star-studded tribute concert, catered dinner, cocktail reception, and live auction.
Before the big night, preview some of the exciting moments that will occur at MusiCares' 2024 Persons of the Year gala.
Star-Studded Tributes
After a catered dinner service, the evening will roll into a tribute concert for our honoree, including performances from some of music's biggest names.
With over 15 GRAMMY-winning & GRAMMY-nominated performers set to take the stage — Sammy Hagar, Jelly Roll, Pat Monahan, Bruce Springsteen, and Shania Twain, to name a few — there will be several unique takes on Bon Jovi classics, from "You Give Love a Bad Name" to "Livin' On a Prayer".
Expect some laughs, too, as comedian Jim Gaffigan will serve as host, along with presenters Gayle King, Lenny Kravitz, and Kylie Minogue.
A Full-On Rock Show
With five Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers and several other hits to his name, Jon Bon Jovi's discography is sure to have everyone in the Los Angeles Convention Center on their feet rocking out all night. And to make the night even more memorable, our honoree himself will even be joining his band for a special performance!
Live Auction Experiences
When you're not dancing along to Bon Jovi jams, you can head over to the silent auction to bid on one-of-a-kind items and experiences. This year's auction will happen live in the dinner room and include three priceless experiences — two of which involve Jon Bon Jovi himself!
For the first time ever, guests can bid on a VIP Floor Cocktail Table at the 66th GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, February 4th at Crypto.com Arena. This experience seats 4 and includes Red Carpet arrival and access.
Also up for grabs is a Volunteer Experience with Jon Bon Jovi at JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, New Jersey. Founded in 2011 by Jon and his wife Dorothea, JBJ Soul Kitchen serves a price-free menu with a mission to combat food insecurity. This once-in-a-lifetime experience includes a shared meal with Jon and Dorothea, as well as a tour of the restaurant.
Last, but certainly not least, guests will also have an opportunity to win a Hampton Water Rosé Tasting and Dinner with Jon Bon Jovi and his son, Jesse. In addition to the wine tasting, the lucky winner and a guest will dine with Jon and Jesse in East Hampton Summer 2024 at one of Jon's favorite spots, The Blue Parrot.
All proceeds from the live auction support MusiCares' mission to provide vital health and human services to music people who have fallen on hard times.
