Every month, MusiCares offers a variety of programs, support groups and health clinics to music professionals in need. This June, MusiCares has lined up a number of resources dedicated to mental health, wellness and the unique struggles of the music community.
The month started with the launch of MusiCares’ fifth annual Wellness in Music Survey, which will inform MusiCares programming for the year ahead. June also brings two Wellness Lounges and Humans of Hip Hop Health & Wellness clinics.

June 2-20: Wellness in Music Survey

MusiCares’ annual Wellness in Music Survey is open through June 20. The survey covers a range of topics, including mental health, financial wellness, addiction, insurance, and diversity and inclusion in the music industry. Survey results identify the new and existing needs of the music community, helping us tailor our services for the year ahead to better support you.
June 5-8: CMA Fest Wellness Lounge & Hearing Clinic
TIME: 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. CT
MusiCares is hosting a Wellness Lounge and Hearing Clinic at CMA Fest in Nashville, Tenn. The Wellness Lounge will feature massage therapy, a holistic chiropractor and a variety of wellness items. Eligible music professionals will be fitted for free, custom-molded ear plugs during the hearing clinic.
All services are open to artists and crew with 5 years employment in music OR credit on at least 6 commercially released recordings only, while supplies last.
June 16: Humans of Hip Hop Health & Wellness Clinic (Atlanta)
TIME: 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. ET

Join MusiCares for a day of community, health and wellness services including vision screenings, custom ear molds, therapy sessions, mental health screenings, massage therapy, and physical therapy.
Additionally, entertainment executive and celebrity financial expert Dr. Lynn Richardson will be joined by guest speaker and real estate broker Jenea Kennedy for an important talk on financial management for music professionals. Topics covered will include homeownership and real estate investing, getting your taxes in order, and how to make your money grow for retirement.
This event is free and open to music professionals with 5 years employment in music OR credit on at least 6 commercially released recordings.
June 23-25: NIVA Wellness Lounge & Hearing Clinic
TIME: 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. CT
MusiCares is hosting a Wellness Lounge and Hearing Clinic at the NIVA ‘25 Conference in Milwaukee, Wisc. The Wellness Lounge will feature massage therapy, a holistic chiropractor and a variety of wellness items. Eligible music professionals will be fitted for free, custom molded ear plugs during the hearing clinic.
All services are open to qualifying music professionals with 5 years employment in music OR credit on at least 6 commercially released recordings, while supplies last.
June 24: Humans of Hip Hop Health & Wellness Clinic (Los Angeles)
TIME: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. PT

Support Groups

MusiCares offers 10 free, weekly support and addiction recovery support groups, including groups for the women's music community, Black music community and LGBTQIA+ communities. These music community groups are open to anyone interested in participating.
Support groups are a safe and secure place to sort through a variety of wellness issues or concerns. Each group is led by a licensed professional, and additional assistance is available if needed.
